Bequest Language

Bequest Language for Newark Academy

Direct, unencumbered bequests provide Newark Academy the full value of whatever was bequeathed to the school. If the donor has not indicated an intention for his or her bequest, the bequest will be directed to the General Endowment unless otherwise designated by the Finance Committee. The Office of Institutional Advancement and the Business Office count the net amount of the bequest when the school received payment unless cash.
